SAKRETE mortar mix type S is a mason-grade preblended mixture of sand and masonry cement or sand, lime and Portland cement. Ideal for laying brick, block and stone in load bearing walls for above or below-grade applications. Ideal for building walls, planters, chimneys and for tuck pointing or repairing existing mortar joints. Type S mortar can also be used as a stucco for scratch, brown and finish coat applications.
